Day 24: Twas the night before Christmas

"I don't want a lot for Christmas. There's just one thing I need. I don't care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree." - All I Want for Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring except for the mouse....well that isn't necessarily how it goes but it's more realistic.

If you're reading this on Christmas Eve, you might be feeling overwhelmed by all the last minute preparations you still need to do before the big day. Don't worry, you're not alone!  Instead of tearing your hair out and rushing around like a headless chicken take a deep breath make yourself a cup of tea and plan out your day.

Here's a quick Christmas Eve checklist to help you get everything done in time:
  1. Finish wrapping any remaining gifts. Make sure you have all the necessary wrapping paper, tape, and ribbon.
  2. Prepare any food or drinks you'll be serving tomorrow. This might include baking cookies, cooking the Turkey, or mixing up some eggnog.
  3. Set the table for tomorrow's meal. Make sure you have enough plates, silverware, and glasses for everyone who will be joining you.
  4. Double-check your shopping list and make sure you have everything you need for tomorrow. If you forgot something, now is the time to run to the store!
  5. Take a few minutes to relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Play some Christmas music, light some candles, or watch a holiday movie with your family.
Remember, Christmas is about spending time with loved ones and enjoying the festive spirit. Don't stress too much about the details – as long as you're surrounded by people you care about, everything else will fall into place and if not it will be a Christmas to look back on with smiles and laughter.

Merry Christmas!
Kisses
