"If there is love in your heart and your mind, you will feel Christmas all the time."- Faith Hill
I absolutely love Christmas time! The lights, the colours, the vibes,
the celebrations with family and friends.
To make Christmas time feel special here are some MUSTS (not to be so aggressive haha):
1). Christmas Tree up by Dec 1st. Christmas is such a short time and it’s wonderful to make the most of it. To do that it’s important to get the decorations all ready when December hits. This way Christmas feels longer and feels less like it’s gone in the blink of an eye.
2). Buying presents in October/November. What can I say? It’s good to be organised and finish Christmas planning by this time so that you can actually enjoy Christmas rather than being stressed out.

Although I’m not a fan of winter, Christmas helps me see winter in a more positive light. Wrapping up warm, hot drinks and spending quality time with the people I love most!

3). Watching Christmas films. Yes, Christmas films definitely help set the festive mood. If you need some motivation then pop on those films and you'll feel it in no time.
4). Visiting a Christmas market. Now this is a must because the experience is just so fun and relaxing. Being out when it's cold doesn't feel like a good idea but when you're with people you love, it's just so much fun!
5). Wearing Christmas colours. That's basically a lot of red and green. Wearing such colours sets a festive tone. Just seeing the two colours reminds me of Christmas.
6). Listening to Christmas music! There's nothing like a bit of Michael Bublè or Mariah Carey to bring out the Christmas spirit. Music is the number one thing really to set the mood and create festive atmosphere.
7). Visiting a Church near you. Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ, during this period there are a bunch of nativity plays going on at basically every Church. If you want some insight of the history and meaning of Christmas then it's worth attending a nativity service and seeing the Christian view of Christmas.
These are some musts that I find important to do in Christmas. You can try these and see if it helps put you in the Holiday spirit.
Love,
