"Perhaps you were made for such a time as this." - Esther 4:14
Do you ever ask yourself "What am I doing here?", "What was I made for?" or even "Do I belong here?"
I've found myself asking the same questions many times. I often disassociate and detach myself from my surroundings and wonder, what am I supposed to be doing?!
There have been many times where I have felt lost in life, times where I felt like I am not doing what I was created for. I have questioned myself and my life. I've been close to dark and even suicidal thoughts yet still had the sense that I was made for so much more. Even when I was at my happiest I found myself thinking *could there be more out there for me*
I realised that EVERY SINGLE thing I went through, I was MEANT to go through. All of my experiences occurred to shape me into the person I am today. And of course, It's the same thing for ALL of us.
It sure helps change the perspective of "What was I made for?" to "I'm living out exactly what I was made for!"
If you find yourself thinking similar thoughts, then I want you to take a second to think back on your life. Think about every important thing you've been through, good or bad.
These are the things you were meant to go through, the reason for this is so that you'd be the person you are today. All those things, all those seasons were only leading you to your version now. And guess what? You are still being led. You're still on the journey. Maybe we were all created for a journey. It's not the events that are important but in fact your growth. Your journey.
You know what you were made for! You know that there is a reason for everything you've been through!
So next time you have an existential crisis, remind yourself that you are already where you're meant to be.
Love,
