Short break tips

"Adventure is worthwhile in itself" Amelia Earhart

This time of year is perfect for short trips, a few days here and there, below is a short list of tips I recommend when planning a short trip.

Before I left I complied a list of things that I planned on taking, below are a few tips and things to take into consideration when travelling or taking a short break this spring/summer.

Tip One-  when and where?

So you have decided where you're going and when you're going. In the week before you go check the weather for your destination. Is it going to rain? Will the sun the shining? Knowing what the weather is going to do will help you with what to take.

Tip Two-  Packing?

A travel out, trousers or Jeans? Dresses or shirts? I took one pair of Jeans and two pairs of leggings. The leggings were my travel go to and the Jeans were for the days of exploring. This was the best decision, I also co-ordinated my tops and jumpers so I can mix and match it.

Tip three- where are you going?

If it isn't a place you have visited before or haven't been to in a while take to Google. Play tourist! Are you going out on day trips or more for the night life? I am not really the clubbing type of girl so I was all about the day trips and seeing the sites. Once you have decided this, do you need to book tickets? Find the route, or look at opening times.
Tip Four-  Food!

Now you don't need to go out every night or even try new foods. Finding a good coffee place is a must and sometimes they do great breakfasts too. We found a perfect place in Liverpool called Baby E and it was the cutest. Decide when you're going to have your biggest meal and have a look around when you get there. Most importantly enjoy!

Hopefully these tips have helped you with any impending plans.

Happy travelling
