2022 favourites

"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens"
Julie Andrews, The Sound of Music

As we enjoy the first few weeks of 2023 I thought I would note now a few of my favourite things about the year 2022, some of these may have made it into blog posts, others may not have. This list will comprise of everything from makeup to music, to friends (no not my favourite friends but favourite activities with friends)

Lets begin with Makeup shall we, I have very much been in love with the E.L.F flawless finish foundation, in fact this is my second bottle. I love this foundation, it isn't too full coverage and suits my skin like most foundations don't. It is under £10.00 and absolutely fabulous. I have also been in love with most of my nude lippies but this one from kiko is my absolute fave!

Music is next, now this isn't so clear cut. I am sure we all know different songs suit different moods and occasions. I must admit I love all things Demi Lovato and the new album just kills it. I am also a big fan of the new Sam Smith track....I mean Unholy is just *chefs kiss* . We of course all love a good Christmas song too.

With the winter season starting and ending the year candles have been a big part of being cosy and this
pecan candle is to die for, in fact I have almost burnt through it. I have really taken to smaller candles over getting bigger ones. They often cost less and means you can get through more candles. This particular one was from TKMaxx and was around £5.00

I have been obsessed with Star Wars again this year in particular The Mandalorian and The book of Boba Fett, they are great additions and allow me to delve into the universe of Star Wars, plus we see more Grogu! What more could you want?

Perfume is something I am highly specific about and one of my ultimate favourites is the YSL Black Opium, I have had this for ages and throughout 2022 it definitely became a firm favourite. I also like my Miss Dior perfume and my Burberry Brit one...some repurchases may be needed this year.

The most favourite moment of the year my far happens to be the friends trip to Liverpool. There is nothing from the year 2022 that could compare to it. I am definitely aiming to return and also explore more places in 2023!

So there you have it, my 2022 favourites, what was one thing about 2022 that you loved?  Let me know and don't forget to follow all the additional content through the 'my links' page.

Kisses
